I am still in search of my right man and
matchmaking websites has been one of my source
of getting my contacts hence candidates. I had
met quite a number of different man with all
sorts of character. One that I will not forget
is a guy who claims to be a very highly
qualified professional with double degrees and
several PhDs.
The guy had a funny speaking tone on the
phone and likes to dominate the
conversation. He gets angry at my jokes and
laugh out loud for no reason! I thought
maybe that explains his too highly
intelligent brain. I thought, he maybe
strange, rare but belongs to special
species. I gave myself a try and wanted to
meet him eye to eye. Who knows if he was
just testing me and happen to be the person
I have been waiting for.
Before the date, as a precautionary, I left
his number to my friend. In case the worst
happen there'll be people who know my
whereabouts and who to look for. He asked
what dress to wear, open up several options
on expensive places to dine, which than, I
chose one.
He waited in his car in front of my office.
After we greet each other he started staring
at me. That was making me uneasy and
suddenly I formed an opinion that he is not
the "one". However, it was still to early to
judge a person so I followed him for the
dinner. It was not a high class place but a
small table at a food-stall near one corner
at the road end. He piled up several chairs
before he sat down which according to him he
will only sit at a higher level than other
people.
I asked further why, which he confidently
say it is because he is more special than
others. I did not really know whether I had
met a psychopathic person or an arrogant one
but I know I can't wait for the date to be
over. The date finally over and I was
thankful that I got home safely so that I
can continue to look for my Mr Right.

I was married for 10 years and suddenly an event
occurred and I became a widower with four kids.
It's difficult for a guy to manage a family
alone. I decided to find a new life partner but
too busy with work and do not have enough time
to socialize.
I used to be sceptical about match making
websites, but after reading several articles, I
decided to give it a try. At first I joined as a
free member. After a week of searching, I found
out I couldn't contact other members. Then, I
joined as a paid member at two match making
websites. Soon after, I get to contact many
members and had several candidates.
To make this story short, three months later, I finally got married
and my life is back to normal. The most
interesting part is, my wife is not a members of
those websites. I met my wife from a
recommendation from one of the candidate who
think that her friend (my wife) was suitable for
me. It sure does.

My experience with matrimonial website was
rather tragic. I am a single woman in late 30s.
I met my ex-foreign boyfriend (an English man
from UK) who is in early 40s.
He was so romantic and sound very real. We
correspond via emails and sometime via phone. In
the 3rd month of our relationship he planned to
meet me and my family in my home country. Of
course I felt so excited with his plan.
However 2 weeks before his visit he suddenly
rang me up to inform that his brother in law
involved in car accident and passed away in
Germany. His nephew who studied in Malaysia
needed some fund urgently to buy his air ticket.
(This is where the catch is!!).
I am lucky to have such a trustworthy friend
whom I share every bit of my love story. She
made me realize that this is merely a scam and
advised me to ignore this so-called decent
culprit.
The morale of my story is we must put extra
cautions when dealing with total stranger. Do
not invest in feeling before we get second
opinion from our relative or friend. An
intelligent culprit can always create thousand
stories and innocent people can easily be
trapped by the sweet talks.
Be honest and patient in our pursuit of true
love. Always seek guidance from Allah Al-Mighty.
Sincerely yours
